Rihanna Sues Accounting Firm For Almost Going Bankrupt In 2009

Rihanna could be riding exotic cars,buying exotic houses etc. but she claims that the costly mistakes made by her accountants almost made her bankrupt four years ago.

Rihanna filed a legal suit against an accounting/account managering firm,Berdon LLP for gross mismanagement of her funds which almost made her bankrupt in 2009.

According to reports,the Barbadian pop star had $11 million at the beginning of 2009 but ended up closing up the year with just $2 million,which means Rihanna had her expenses doubled.

Rihanna's lawsuit against the accounting firm,Berdon LLP was constituted of three claims by the pop star.

Firstly,she claimed her accountants gave her the go-ahead to buy the Beverly Hills house with $7 million and she ended up selling the Beverly Hills house at a loss price of $2.4 million two years later.

Rihanna also claims in her lawsuit against the accounting firm that her accountant never told her that her 'Last Girl On Earth' tour was losing money.

Rihanna final claim was that the firm's commision of 22% was too much compared to the services rendered.The accounting firm,Bredon LLC although claimed she signed off on the commission.

Although Rihanna's monetary worth still stands at $43 million,the pop singer would not like to go bankrupt again,perhaps a new year resolution.
