Akon's Next Concert To Hold In Africa!

Akon's Next Concert To Hold In Africa!

I really love Akon as an artiste because he never tries to forget his roots, Africa!!!, not just as an artiste but Akon's concerts are always fabulous and earth-shattering!

Just recently the Senegalese born, Akon announced or rather pledged that his company alongside the government is going to provide one million African homes with solar power. Akon's is also planning an "Akon's Concert" specially to celebrate the success of his initiative, Akon Lighting Africa.

Let me give you a very quick biography of Akon. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Senegalese parents and also this shocker he spent much of his childhood in West Africa [Senegal]. Okay this one's not part of Akon's biography but Sarkodie rejected his [Akon's] multi-million dollars proposed recording deal from Akon's record label, Konvict Musik. You can find out more by clicking the link to that but, first let's continue the Akon's concert story below....

"The goal afterwards is a huge celebration, one huge concert to celebrate getting everyone involved and raising more awareness," Akon told Entertainment Tonight. "More than anything, just to celebrate the fact that people are coming together to do some amazing things in Africa. The progress has been amazing! This has called out more entrepreneurs and small business owners who are passionately investing into a lot of the infrastructure in Africa and who want to be a part of the growth of African stability. "The singer goes on to explain that there is always a warm welcome whenever he tours in Africa. According to Akon, being able to travel around the continent was a truly enlightening experience and inspired him to try and help those in need. "Africa is my biggest market when it comes to touring; it's kept me so busy that I haven't had time to even tour the United States," he said. "Touring is what opened my eyes to what we need in Africa, being in all those countries and visiting all those villages, and kind of being a part of the culture itself has motivated me more than anything to build an infrastructure there."
Due to Akon's love for Africa as an African, he started the Akon Lighting Africa initiative, a move that will bring solar power to one million African homes in 2014.

Absolutely Wonderful!, All In 2014!!, Nigerian government has been promising light since 1960 still nothing has been done, lets hope Nigeria's Akon, Wale Baba Folarin starts his own Lighting initiative then perhaps WE may all attend Akon's Concert Wale's Concert In Nigeria!
