The UEFA champions league saw a lot of rejoicing and cry of bitterness as Barcelona clashes with Manchester City. Lionel Messi struck again for Barcelona by scoring a superb goal on 67th minute .
Manchester City fought one goal back with Vincent Kompany’s precise shot on the 89th minute. However, Dani Alves managed to add a stoppage-time goal against City.
Paris Saint-Germain sealed their place in the next round of the Champions League with a 2-1 (6-1 Agg) win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Sidney Sam (6`) scored for the German club, while Marquinhos (13`) and Ezequiel Lavezzi (53`) scored for the hosts.
It would be recalled that another Spanish top club Atletico Madrid and the reigning champions Bayern Munich secured their places in the quarterfinals on March 11, 2014, Tuesday.
